Every 2 years, Xi Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. sponsors a debutante cotillion for female 11th and 12th graders. These students will be presented next November 2011. Therefore you must be a 10th or 11th grader in 2010 to become a potential debutante. The debutante process focuses on scholarship, leadership, charm school, and community service.
Students must have a 2.5 or better grade point average, exhibit strong leadership skills, and be involved in community service.
Junior Debutantes are also needed. You must be an 8th or 9th grader in 2010.
If you are interested please see Mrs. Zambeck or Mr. Nazigian to be added to the nomination list by November 19.
